AMEN Ministries adhere to the belief that even
though marriage is a “contract” that is legally binding; for Believers it
is more than a piece of paper. It is a sacred covenant that is spiritually
and morally binding. To be married a man and a woman are pledging their
love and commitment to each other before God and are joined together in a
lasting bond that is intended to last all their days. This is the
sacrament of marriage.
AMEN Ministries’ contract clergy are available to officiate your wedding
and offers an abundance of pastoral and spiritual guidance which will make
your wedding ceremony memorable and a truly enjoyable experience. We take
this occasion seriously and will extend ourselves in assisting you.
Traditional, as well as creative non-traditional weddings are performed
and held at the location of your choice. Private home weddings are
beautiful and especially meaningful to many couples.
We will be pleased to assist you in personalizing your wedding ceremony.
There are many ways in which this can be accomplished. Options for
readings, both from scriptures and other sources are available. Vows can
be written by you or chosen from more traditional options to further
personalize your wedding ceremony. Ceremonies which speak to various
ethnic groups can also be accommodated. Unity candles, roses to parents
and other more traditional activities can be easily included in your
special wedding ceremony. Discussing your wishes with us is the best way
to assure that your day is splendid and unforgettable.

- Face to face meetings as needed
- Follow-up arrangements as appropriate
- You will receive a copy of the vow service
- Signing and submitting of your wedding license
- Ceremony officiating
- Blessing before bride and groom slice cake (optional)
Renewal of vows
This ceremony is both a re-affirmation and a renewal. These ceremonies
give married couples the opportunities to renew their marriage vows and to
celebrate their married years together. Every ceremony will be unique and
special people in the couples’ lives and anyone can be invited to take
part in the ceremony. AMEN Ministries’ contract clergy are available to
conduct renewal ceremonies.
This includes but is not limited to renewal of vows and renewal of faith
commitment. The ceremony planning will consist of at least one face to
face meeting for introductory purposes and to review ceremonial options.
Ceremonies can be as creative as desired and held at the place of your
choice. The renewal of marriage vows ceremony has no legal status and the
couples’ marriage certificate must be shown before a ceremony can be
booked.
